Opening bij Boots Flowerbulbs vormt aftrap van Tulip Trade Event

Het Tulip Trade Event 2026 gaat op woensdag 18 maart officieel van start bij Boots Flowerbulbs. Zoals gebruikelijk vormt de opening het moment waarop deelnemers, gasten en vertegenwoordigers uit de sector samenkomen om de drie tulpgerichte dagen feestelijk in te luiden.

Bent u erbij, bij het Tulip Trade Event in 2027?

De tulpenteelt in Nederland staat drie dagen lang extra in de schijnwerpers tijdens het Tulip Trade Event! Drie dagen lang, van 17 tot en met 19 maart 2027, combineren exporteurs en veredelaars in Nederland hun open dagen. Daarmee is het Tulip Trade Event uitgegroeid tot een kleurrijke etalage voor de tulpenteelt. In drie dagen tijd kunt u het gehele assortiment in bloei zien, horen welke nieuwe trends en teeltmethoden in opmars zijn én bijpraten met uw relaties.

Al zeven jaar vertoont de belangstelling uit binnen- en buitenland een stijgende lijn. Door de concentratie van de bedrijven kunt u in korte tijd een complete update krijgen over het tulpen vak. Komt u uit het buitenland? Dan is een bezoek aan meerdere bedrijven eenvoudig te combineren.

I visited TTE2019 on 20th and 21st of March. Luckily I managed to visit all the participating companies in the 2 days. My impression is, it was simply an outstanding exhibition. I bet most of the companies tried to do their best to show many varieties and item-concept by creative ways. And each company seemed to have own colour.

Some of the participating companies displayed their exclusive varieties, or unique item-concept like wax-decorated bulbs, or few companies did it just like a lot quality check. Actually different ways of display kept me away from getting bored. It was so interesting.

I liked the organization of the exhibition. Everything was at a good level. But it would be great to see the growers themselves at this exhibition, in addition to the reseller companies. I was able to visit all the companies and compare the terms of cooperation, and find a supplier.

For three days, the international tulip sector was in full bloom, welcoming visitors from both the Netherlands and abroad. Everyone came together to experience and discuss the latest varieties, innovations, challenges, and market developments.

From the festive opening at Boots Flowerbulbs to inspiring meetings and valuable conversations at the various participating tulip bulb exporters, the event once again proved to be the meeting place for the tulip trade. Across nine locations, visitors were given a unique view of tulips in bloom—bringing colors, shapes, and quality truly to life. It’s this combination of live experience and personal connection that makes the Tulip Trade Event so special.
