Sixth edition of Tulip Trade Event returns to its former glory
From March 13 to 15, 2024, the sixth edition of the Tulip Trade Event will take place. Twelve leading companies, spread across North and South Holland, will open their doors. The event is an absolute must-visit for interested parties from both domestic and international locations, providing a unique opportunity to visit various companies over three days and receive a comprehensive update on the tulip sector.
At the Tulip Trade Event, the emphasis is explicitly on trade. Participants primarily showcase the available assortment, with the principle that exporters and breeders display varieties of which at least 20,000 bulbs are available. This sets the event apart from traditional flower shows, where the focus is often on novelties.
Much has happened
After two years affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and a modest event year due to the war in Ukraine, the organizers hope that the sixth edition of the Tulip Trade Event will once again attract many visitors to the participating exporters and breeders. The last tulip show without restrictive measures took place in 2019, and in the intervening period, much has happened, especially in the fields of robotics, automation, and the environment. This edition is one that industry professionals should not miss.
Sustainably grown
The world’s largest tulip gathering is also an excellent opportunity to establish new contacts and strengthen existing ones. There is ample space to exchange ideas about the future of tulip cultivation. What is the industry already doing, and what steps can still be taken to ensure that consumers can enjoy sustainably grown products?
