Registration for first Tulip Trade Event 2016 has now started

Companies interested in participating in the first Tulip Trade Event in 2016 can now register with the organisation. The first edition of the new initiative is in the planning for 2016. From 30 March to 1 April, exporters and tulip breeders will open their doors simultaneously. A particularly warm welcome will be extended to our international visitors.

The plan for a joint promotional event for the tulip trade is already attracting interest in the sector. Companies behind the initiative include P. Aker, Amsonia, Borst Bloembollen, Haakman Flowerbulbs, Nord Lommerse, P. Nelis, VWS Flowerbulbs and Royal van Zanten. The organisation – made up of representatives from tulip exporting companies – is positive that an excellent range of recognised companies will be on board by the 2016 launch. The organisation has set a maximum number of companies that can participate.

100 m2 Showroom

Participating companies are required to possess a space which can operate as a representational showroom. The space required must be at least 100 m2. The presentation will showcase the current selection, along with promising new innovations ready for market. If it is not possible to get tulips into bloom at the company’s own premises, space will be made available at Proeftuin Zwaagdijk or at the Hobaho test centre. Other bulb varieties may be displayed, however the number of tulips is required to be at least 80%. Companies wishing to join the first Tulip Trade Event can use the contact form on this website or send an email to info@tuliptradeevent.nl.
